“Am Not Dead” Real Dj Lithium Clears Air

The Capital FM Kenya is mourning the death of their staff, Alex Nderi popularly known as DJ Lithium.

The 34-year old is said to have committed suicide while at his place of work on Wednesday evening by taking rat poison.

According to reports, Lithium was found in the IT department by his colleagues who rushed him to the Nairobi hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The DJ left behind a suicide note and is said to have deactivated his social media accounts before taking his life.

Elsewhere it has  emerged that there is another DJ Lithium who has been forced to address the death reports.

The American DJ known as The Real DJ Lithium took to his social media pages to announce that he is not dead.

“I’m not dead. just the imposter in Kenya is. #capitalFM@djlithiumThere can be only one!!!” he said.

He further accused the deceased DJ of stealing his mixtapes and said that he had warned him to stop using the name for years.

“I own the trademark. He was warned for years to stop using it. He stole some of my mixed sets early on as well and passed them off as his own along with some of my tracks. He was a fraud,” The Real DJ Lithium responded to a comment from his follower.
