CS Machogu, KNEC Announces When 2022 KCSE Will be Released

Education CS Ezekiel Machogu and the Kenya National Examination Council has announced the most recent schedule for the release of the KCSE 2022 exam results .

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu has announced that the KCSE exam results will be made public this week.


There were 884,263 people who registered to take the three-week test that began on December 2, 2022.

On January 2, 2023, marking commenced in at least 20 centers, with the majority located in Nairobi.

A team consisting of representatives from multiple agencies oversaw the examination to ensure that it was conducted fairly and without any irregularities or misconduct of any kind.

The release of the 2022 KCSE Examination results will mark the end of a compressed academic calendar that was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic that struck in 2020.

The candidates were in Form 2 at the time of the epidemic and didn’t return to school until January 2021.

The candidates will undoubtedly be lauded for completing the Form 4 curriculum despite the difficulties caused by COVID-19 and the subsequent 9 August General Elections.

How to Check 2022 KCSE Exam Results

Students taking the KCSE in 2022 can sms their index number to the number 20076 to receive their exam results. Only after CS Education Ezekiel Machogu officially releases the results.

On the Safaricom, Airtel, and Telkom networks, the rate of the SMS is 20 Kenyan shillings.

Visit the KNEC website at http://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/ and enter your index number to check your 2022 KNEC KCSE results online.
