The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) has announced a massive recruitment drive for a wide range of positions and skill levels.
In a notice that was released on Tuesday, January 31, the bureau announced the availability of 108 positions. These positions range from accountants to primary office administrators, legal officers, and supply chain officers.
Workers in the fields of security, administration, quality assurance, inspection, market monitoring, laboratory analysis, metrology, certification, and standards are a few others.
Assistant Customer Care Officers, Assistant Technicians in Metrology, and Assistant Technicians in the Testing Laboratory were the last vacancies to be filled.

Candidates were asked to submit their applications by February 15, 2023 at 5 p.m.
KEBS claims that the open jobs are consistent with its mission to promote standardization in business and industry in order to provide standardization, metrology, and conformity assessment services.
The organization guaranteed that only the chosen few would be contacted. Any foreign academic credentials have to be accompanied with a certificate of recognition and equivalence issued by the appropriate Kenyan body.
All students seeking graduate-level engineering degrees are required to get registered as graduate engineers. Candidates who identified as female and/or disabled were strongly encouraged to apply.
It’s important to note that the bureau does not want any money up front to begin the hiring process. Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya, which addresses Leadership and Integrity, must also be complied with by all applicants.
How to Apply
Applications can be submitted electronically to recruitment(at)kebs(dot)org or in hard copy to the KEBS HQ office, Mombasa Road, addressed to the Managing Director’s Office.
The envelope containing the letter must bear the name of the position being filled, and it must be sent no later than the due date.
Candidates were instructed to include a cover letter, a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae outlining all of their academic and professional qualifications, and copies of pertinent testimonials, certifications, and identification documents.
